At Crosshouse Parish Church we aim to play a key role in the local community. Outwith our standard times of worship we also run/facilitate a number of further events and groups. Some of these are detailed below. If you wish to attend, contact details have been provided to allow you to get in touch with the appropriate person. We hope to see you soon!
This is a special candle-lit, meditative service each year in mid-December for those who, from loss or bereavement, will find the joy and busyness of Christmas celebrations difficult to deal with. During this service there is the opportunity to hang a paper heart on a frosted tree in memory of a loved one.Throughout the year the "memories" tree is situated at the back of the church. There are spare hearts for anyone to use as the need arises. For further information contact:Florence Marshall 01563 524089 or Sandy Turner 01563 551473
This group meets at 10:10 until 10:30 each Sunday morning to pray for the work of our minister, office bearers, groups and congregation and also for the church worldwide. The candle lit during this prayer time is kept lit for the service. The recently created prayer area is a quiet place for anyone, after the service, to go and pray or meditate. A prayer Ten:Ten resource box is available to use as required.
Prayer Phone Chain
There is a small group of people who will contact one another when someone needs prayer whether it is due to illness, bereavement etc. Al information is confidential. For further information contact: Linda Fisher 01563 529614
